| The Oasis Camel Centre offers a great value day out for school parties, playgroups, cubs or brownies and even adult groups. Evening visits can also be made by prior arrangement. We can provide a variety of animal encounters to suit all age groups and for children there's lots of fun to be had in our adventure play areas. |
| A group visit to our centre can include the following: |

- For small children a supervised cuddle-a-pet session, play areas, mini maze and land train/pony-cart ride. (Depending on weather)
- For 5-10 years olds we can arrange a question trail.
- For schools a copy of our Teachers Activity pack can be made available upon booking. This pack is designed to assist with learning and is linked to the National Curriculum Key Stages 1,2 and 3.
- For adults and older children an introductory talk on the history and evolvement of the camelid species and a close-up session with one of our camels.
- Hands on sessions for all with some of our smaller pets. All of our hands-on animal sessions are supervised by ourselves and we have to insist that everyone uses the handwashing facilities provided immediately after the sessions.
- Farm walk where you can see a whole host of interesting animals including camels, goats, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, chickens etc.
- A visit to the information barn which contains lots of interesting facts about all of our animals.

Refreshments are available or you can bring your own picnic and use one of our picnic areas. |
| We have a gift shop selling various souvenirs, soft toys and gifts as well as alpaca wool knitwear. |
| Animal feed can be purchased from the gift shop for 50p per bag should you wish to feed the animals as you go round. |
| Handwashing facilities are provided at various locations in the Centre. |
| Admission price for groups of 10 or more is £4.00 per person. All group visits must be pre-booked. |
| For schools/playgroups/cubs etc we admit 1 free teacher/helper to each 5 children to encourage good supervision. |
| For the welfare of your party a risk assessment sheet can be provided on request, but we advise that you carry out your own risk assement prior to your visit. |
